Your agreement with Aoloha

These terms apply to aoloha.com and Proofdrop, operated by Aoloha. By installing or using Proofdrop, you agree to these terms. If you act for a business, you confirm that you are authorized to accept them for that business. You must be legally able to enter this agreement.

The service & your access

Proofdrop adds photo uploads to compatible Shopify contact forms and sends uploaded files to the merchant’s connected Google Drive or Shopify Files. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the service for your authorized store while you comply with these terms.

You are responsible for your store, connected accounts, app configuration, permissions, internet access, and compliance with Shopify, Google, and other applicable provider terms. Availability may depend on your theme and provider limits. Proofdrop is being prepared for public release; testing access and features may change.

Your photos & responsibilities

You and your customers retain ownership of your content. You authorize Aoloha and the storage providers to process it only as needed to operate the features you request. You must have the rights and lawful authority to collect, upload, store, and share that content.

• Provide customers with appropriate privacy and storage notices and obtain any required consent.
• Do not upload unlawful, infringing, abusive, malicious, or deceptive content.
• Do not bypass security checks, access another merchant’s data, interfere with the service, or exceed limits through automated abuse.
• Do not use the uploader to collect credentials, identity documents, payment information, or sensitive records requiring protections the service does not provide.

Aoloha owns the service’s software and branding; these terms do not transfer those rights to you.

Storage, public links & cleanup

You select and control your storage. Google Drive files are private subject to the permissions you manage. Shopify Files URLs are public and may be accessed by anyone with a link. Consider this before enabling uploads.

You are responsible for retention, permissions, backups, and responding to requests about your customers’ photos. Uploads may persist after an abandoned form submission. The service is not a backup system.

Confirmed cleanup permanently deletes the selected app-uploaded photos and makes existing links stop working. Review the selection before confirming. Disconnecting Google Drive or uninstalling the app does not delete photos in your storage. Delete them before disconnecting or manage them through the provider.

Fees & third-party services

Any app fees, trial conditions, or billing terms will be shown before you agree to a paid plan and, where applicable, handled through Shopify billing. This website does not offer a paid plan or collect payments. Your Shopify, Google, or other provider may charge separately for its services or storage.

Third-party services have their own terms, availability, and limits. Aoloha cannot guarantee their operation, delivery of Shopify contact emails, or continued access to third-party storage.

Availability & limitations

We aim to provide a useful, reliable service, but do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that it will fit every theme or use case. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without additional warranties.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Aoloha is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses caused by third-party outages, incorrect configuration, public sharing, or deletion you authorize. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or mandatory rights that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer rights or liability for fraud or intentional misconduct.

Suspension & ending use

You may stop using Proofdrop by uninstalling it. We may restrict or suspend access to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements, or material breaches of these terms. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and a way to resolve the issue. Access may end if the service is discontinued.

Before ending use, review whether you need to download or delete files in your storage. The privacy policy describes removal of app metadata and credentials. Ending access does not automatically remove merchant-controlled photos.

Changes & resolving concerns

We may update the service or these terms. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel where required; updated terms will show a new effective date. If you do not agree, stop using the service. Applicable mandatory law governs your rights, and these terms do not restrict courts or remedies that mandatory law makes available to you.
